Clean Up.
Hello there. I feel like I’m always saying this, but I’ve been busy cleaning up…so I’ve kind of been neglecting my blog. Sorry! I don’t think we have a single room that is clean right now… It’s kind of driving me crazy. I work like mad to pick things up and it seems like as soon as Riley and Paisley are awake, it’s a complete disaster again. I pick up the whole time they are awake, and I blog and clean while Riley takes his nap. If they both take naps at the same time [once every week or two], then I nap too. It’s exhausting being a mama sometimes.
My MacBook Air has also run out of hard drive space, so I’ve been trying to go through photos and delete some. Steven has mentioned moving all of my photos to our Drobo thingy, but in the meantime I still would like to blog! Haha!
I’m also working on cleaning up some negative beliefs I’ve had for a long time. Obviously, that last part is taking a while to do. But I guess all of the cleaning is taking a while. I’m sure I’m not the only one who has some form of negative belief, whether it be about yourself or others. I tend to worry too much about what other’s think, and I always want to please people. I’m hoping to one day let it all go and just be happy no matter what other’s think. I’m hoping that I can be happy with who I am, and my own life.
I’m not saying that I am not happy with my life and myself! I am very, very happy with Steven, Paisley, and Riley. They make me smile and laugh more than I ever thought possible. And Steven really is the best thing to ever happen to me. I’m just talking about holding myself back from doing things because I don’t want to hurt or offend others. Does that make sense? I like being neutral, like Sweden. But, you know, you can’t always be neutral. Sometimes, you need to be brave and do the things which will make you happy.
This weekend, we’re taking down Christmas decorations/trees because, HELLO!, it’s February. And they’re driving me c.r.a.z.y. We’re also maybe going to price a townhouse we’d really like to buy sometime in the next year or so. We’re cleaning. Like mad people. And we might test drive a Toyota Prius and Chevy Volt. We’re also going to scan the polaroids I took in Disney World, and I’m going to edit the photos from my digital camera to blog next week. I also am planning out outfits for a special week of glitter shoe posts. Yep. A whole stinking week of GLITTER SHOES! Could I be more excited?! Probably not. I love me some glitter shoes. *So tell me, bloggy friends, would you rather see every day outfits with glitter shoes? Or dress up outfits for date nights [like lovey dovey Valentine's day]??*
